What Is A 32B Bra?
The obvious answer is small but this is what the numbers mean:
32 is the band size. This is the measurement around your chest, under the breasts where the band of the bra sits - in this case in inches.
The cup size represents the increase in the measurement of the band size to the measurement around your chest at the widest part of the breast (usually around the nipple area in pert breasts).
So a 32B is a 32-inch measurement under bust and a 34-inch measurement around the breasts. Just about right, depending on overall size and condition.
How To Choose The Correct Size?
The band size is pretty small and the cup size isn’t that big either. 32 band size is for people who have an underbust measurement of 73 -77cm. One would fall into the 32B category if their full bust measurement was 84 - 86 cm.
It comes under the “small” category but how it would look on a person depends on things like age, body type, height, body shape.
The number gives you the band size. The majority of women are around 34–36 while B is the dimension of the cup. Normally, it is said that a B fits a champagne cup. Basically, it's the measurement around the rib cage under the breasts is 32". It also denotes a B cup in breast size.
Why Is It Necessary To Wear A Correct Bra Size?
Yes. With two options.
- If you don't wear a bra and directly put blouse, your nipples will be visible. To avoid it, you can use padded blouse or adhesive cups. This is already in many answers.
- The other option is to wear the blouse directly if you have saree etc to cover from the top.
The bra holds breast well. Nipples appearance very less and boobs sag little only. If your nipples are small and boobs are sagging little only, you may wear a blouse directly with caution.
There are now many techniques used, where during stitching is done, the shape of the cups are given in the blouse itself. Thus holding teh right shape one can wear these blouses with confidence.
A 32A bra means that it should be worn by someone whose circumference of their torso, right below the breasts, is about 32 inches. The letters indicate that the breast tissue makes this circumference a little wider. The 32A means that a woman measures 33 inches when you measure her torso over her nipples. And 32 inches below the breasts. And a B means 2 inches, C is 3 inches, etc.
So, while the thread that goes round the torso is still the same length, the 32B has a bit more space in its bags. Well, in the cups, that is. And the larger the letter, the bigger those cups will be.
