Rama Idols and Figurines

Rama is the hero of the Ramayana epic, an incarnation of the God Vishnu. The eldest and favourite son of Dasaratha, King of Ayodhya, he was a virtuous prince and was much loved by the people. He was exiled from Ayodhya due to plotting done by his stepmother, Kaikeyi. Sita and Laxman also accompanied him in the forest for 14 years. Due to their good deeds people started worshipping him and he popularly came to be known as Lord Rama.

Lord Rama is worshipped by every Hindu. Rama Navami is a spring Hindu festival that celebrates the birthday of god Rama.
